Two-way ball valve
A Ball valve is a form of valve in which a ball is placed within a tube or passage way that has a fluid flowing through it. The valve itself is opened by water passing through a hole in the ball, when the ball is positioned in a way that the hole runs the same direction as the passageway this opens the valve. If the ball is positioned in a way where the hole is not in this position, but rather in a perpendicular position to the passageway then the valve is closed as the fluid cannot pass through it.
